Plauteu state, Nigeria _ The Plateau State University Bokkos has appealed to the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for assistance in addressing pressing challenges facing the institution.
The university’s Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Shedrach Best, led a delegation to the ministry, highlighting the need for enhanced security, staff housing, power and water supply, as well as transportation.

Professor Best emphasized the need for on-campus accommodation and transportation to ensure the safety and mobility of students and staff. Additionally, he requested donations of sporting facilities, solar lights, and scholarships for indigent students.
The State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Ephraim Usman, and Chairman of the Shendam Local Government Area, Mr. Kemi Nshe, assured the university of future support, acknowledging the crucial role of education in national development.
