Abuja, Nigeria—  The ECOWAS Court of Justice is set to officially launch its upgraded Electronic Case Management System (ECMS), marking a significant step toward digital transformation.

The Communications Division of the Court announced that a comprehensive Quality Assurance Workshop and Group Training will precede the platform’s Go-Live Ceremony. The workshop, scheduled for February 2–5, 2025, will gather key stakeholders, including the IT Unit, Project Team, Super Users, and Management, to rigorously test the system’s functionality.

“The workshop will address system design gaps, train users on advanced features, and create a framework for ongoing improvements,” the statement noted.

This phase aims to enhance system reliability, resolve potential challenges, and ensure alignment with the Court’s operational standards.

Following the workshop, a training program for judges and staff will take place from February 9–13, 2025. This initiative will equip participants with practical skills for case filing, tracking, and management on the digital platform.

Key objectives include:

– Enhancing proficiency in ECMS usage for judicial tasks.

– Improving collaboration in case resolution processes.
