BREAKING NEWS: CAF assigns Algerian referee to Nigeria-São Tomé AFCON qualifier

In the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Sao Tome and Principe, Algerian referee Lahlou Benbraham will be the center referee.

His compatriots Brahim El Hamlaoui Sid Ali and Mohammed Serradj will serve as assistant referees, with Nabil Boukhalfa as the fourth official and Prosper Addo from Ghana as the match commissioner.

Togolese Komi Konyoh will be the referee assessor, and Ozoemena Joseph from Nigeria will be the general match coordinator.

Nigeria’s Super Eagles have already secured their place in the 2023 AFCON and need a point from this game to finish as Group A winners ahead of Guinea-Bissau.
