Aregbesola: “Tinubu and Buhari Are responsible for My Political Success.”

Rauf Aregbesola, a former interior minister, attributes his political success to President Bola Tinubu and former President Muhammadu Buhari. Aregbesola spoke on Sunday at a gathering in Oyo State that some Muslim intellectuals and clerics hosted in his honor.
When Tinubu was governor of Lagos State, he worked as commissioner of works and infrastructure. After serving as governor of Osun State, he served as minister under Buhari.

He stated, “I am grateful to everyone who succeeded in the accomplishments that made this spectacular reception possible. “I stand with those who mentored me in Lagos, who supported my emergence in Osun, and who made it possible for me achieve a few things that the people of Oyo are applauding me for.Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and former president Muhammadu Buhari are mentioned by name. If there was any way to express gratitude and appreciation to me, I’d like to think that those two people would deserve more than I do.

Aregbesola said that having their support allowed him to advance in politics and that he wouldn’t have been as successful if he had tried to do so on his own.
Without their help, I might not have been able to reach the levels I have now or provide the services that have earned the public’s praise and appreciation.
Aregbesola remarked, “I am grateful for this big welcome of the Oyo people, and Oyo is significant because the Oyo empire is the only empire the Yoruba have ever created over time.
