Actor Korexx —Actor and content creator Ajayi Akorede, also known as Korexx, has shared his views on the societal pressure for men to desire women lustfully.
Korexx believes that not all men are inherently wired to have such desires, suggesting that external influences, such as social conditioning, play a significant role in shaping men’s attitudes towards women.
According to Korexx, many men are conditioned from a young age to view women in a lustful manner by older male figures in their lives, such as relatives and friends. This societal conditioning creates a false sense of need or desire for women, leading men to conform to the expectations of the masculine community. As a result, platonic relationships between men and women may be affected, as the pressure to desire women lustfully becomes a societal norm.
Korexx argues that desiring women lustfully is often seen as a survival skill in order for men to feel accepted within their masculine peer group. He suggests that this conditioning can obscure a man’s true desires and values, pushing them to engage in behaviors that may not align with their core beliefs. Additionally, he believes that societal pressures can make it challenging for men to form strong and healthy friendships with women without feeling the need to fulfill a sexual desire.
On a deeper level, Korexx highlights that many men are driven by more fulfilling aspects of life, such as purpose and personal growth, rather than solely by desires for women.
He points out that external influences and societal expectations can lead men to prioritize chasing women as a sport or conquest, rather than focusing on their personal growth and inner fulfillment.
