Madrid, Spain— Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has reassured young forward Endrick that his opportunity to shine will come in due time, emphasizing the importance of patience in a highly competitive squad.
Ancelotti made this statement while addressing the media ahead of Real Madrid’s Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg clash against Real Sociedad. His remarks come in response to concerns over Endrick’s limited playing time since joining the club.
Despite his undeniable talent, the young Brazilian has only played 496 minutes across all competitions this season, scoring six goals. However, he has voiced frustration over his lack of consistent appearances.
Expressing confidence in Endrick’s potential, Ancelotti dismissed any notion of worry. “I don’t see a problem. I’ve given him playing time whenever possible, and he has made the most of those opportunities,” the coach stated.
He also hinted at the possibility of Endrick featuring in the upcoming fixture. “Could he play tomorrow? I’m considering it. Several factors will determine the final decision,” he added.
Ancelotti highlighted the intense competition within the squad, pointing out that even some of Real Madrid’s biggest stars had to wait before securing a regular starting position.
“This club has a history of players earning their place over time. Vinicius, for example, had to be patient for a couple of years. The same goes for Rodrygo, Valverde, and Camavinga. To succeed at Real Madrid, you have to be willing to spend time on the bench,” he explained.
The manager’s comments reinforce the idea that patience and resilience are crucial for young players hoping to establish themselves in one of the world’s most prestigious football clubs.
