Vile Comment on Daughter Sparks Online Outrage

Lagos, NigeriaSocial media users erupted in anger on Monday after Vivian Joseph, widely known as Mrs. Nkubi and wife of popular skit maker Victor Nkubi, publicly exposed a man who allegedly advised her to kill her daughter.

In a viral Instagram post, Mrs. Nkubi shared the man’s photograph alongside a screenshot of the message he reportedly sent, in which he suggested that she should “unalive the baby girl now before she finally grows.”

The disturbing message read: “I will advise you to kpai this girl now she is still little so that the trauma will not be much on her when she finally grows. My little advice, though.”

Captioning the screenshot and the suspect’s image, Mrs. Nkubi wrote: “This is the face of the man that said I should murder my child,” condemning what she described as unsolicited and deeply offensive advice.

The revelation sparked widespread condemnation across Instagram, with thousands of users demanding accountability.

One commenter, Claire.herself, wrote: “This is out of line. Can’t you just say it in your mind and scroll up? Nawa ohhh.”

Similarly, Sotunboadavid declared: “The child is a gift from the Almighty. She will grow and have a great life in Jesus name. No evil wishes upon her will materialise. She’s blessed, and your family.”

Another user, Mocherrykiddies, stated: “This is all shades of wrong. This man needs to be arrested, honestly,” while Wear_n_smile_ng echoed the sentiment, saying: “He should be arrested, please. This kind person fit kpai somebody even his loved ones.”

Other reactions included aborjoy’s comment: “This is how sad and evil humans are becoming. The baby girl will shock the world. Keep doing what you’re doing, girl. Your baby girl is perfect just the way she is.”

In the same vein, Babyturban.co queried: “You say this to a mother, telling her to murder her innocent child. How evil are you? Don’t you have a heart?”

Offering words of encouragement, Abisolakorinjoh wrote: “You are still blessed to have a beautiful gift from God. Do not let the devil steal or destroy your gift. Blessings upon blessings are on the way. Don’t lose focus.”

The disclosure comes amid recurring episodes of online abuse targeting the family. Just recently, a Facebook post showing Nkubi’s daughter captioned “Main Labubu” triggered another wave of reactions.
