Trump Campaign Reports $35M Fundraising Surge Post-Conviction

Donald Trump’s campaign team has reported raising approximately $35 million in online small-dollar donations following his conviction in the New York hush money trial.

This record-breaking amount nearly doubles the campaign’s previous best fundraising day on WinRed, the official Republican Party donation platform, according to campaign aides.

Senior campaign aides Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles stated that Joe Biden and the Democrats’ “election interference political witch hunt” has reinvigorated the MAGA movement.

The advisors noted that 30 percent of the funds came from new donors to the platform, celebrating the “outpouring of support from patriots across our country.”

A jury convicted Trump on Thursday on all 34 charges of falsifying business records to cover up a sex scandal during the final stages of the 2016 presidential campaign.

Prosecutors allege Trump had an affair with porn actress Stormy Daniels shortly after his wife Melania gave birth in 2006, later paying hush money to avoid public backlash and deceive voters, followed by creating false records to hide the payment.

Trump is scheduled for sentencing on July 11 but is expected to appeal the verdict.
