Tinubu Congratulates Indian Prime Minister on Election Victory

President Bola Tinubu has extended his congratulations to India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on his recent parliamentary election victory.

In a statement, President Tinubu described the election outcome as a strong endorsement of Prime Minister Modi’s exceptional leadership of the world’s largest democracy.

President Tinubu also reassured the Indian populace of Nigeria’s commitment to bolstering bilateral relations and pursuing shared objectives and values as strategic partners on the global stage.

Prime Minister Modi’s coalition, the National Democratic Alliance, secured a majority of parliamentary seats, enabling him to serve a third consecutive term. This marks the second time an Indian leader has achieved a third term, following the tenure of the first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
