Marseille, France — Former Super Eagles left-back, Taye Taiwo, has been officially inducted into Olympique Marseille’s prestigious Legends Club.
The club confirmed Taiwo’s induction through a post on their official English X (formerly Twitter) account.
“Taye Taiwo is in the house tonight as the former Olympian and Super Eagle is inducted into the #OMLegends club ✨,” the club wrote.
Taiwo enjoyed a highly successful tenure at Marseille, where he contributed significantly to the club’s triumphs, including winning the Ligue 1 title, the French League Cup, and the French Super Cup. He left the club in 2011 to join AC Milan.
