Six Feared Dead in Hudson River Helicopter Crash

New York City, USA  — A tragic helicopter crash in the Hudson River on Thursday afternoon has claimed the lives of six people, including a pilot and a visiting family of five from Spain.

According to New York City officials, the incident occurred near Manhattan, prompting an urgent search and rescue operation after eyewitness footage captured the helicopter’s sudden descent into the river.

Despite swift emergency response, Mayor Eric Adams later confirmed that all six individuals aboard the aircraft were found deceased. Authorities disclosed that the victims included the pilot and a family of five tourists, whose visit to the city ended in the fatal accident.

Investigations are now underway to determine the cause of the crash. The New York City Police Department and aviation authorities are leading the probe, while efforts continue to recover evidence from the wreckage.
