Manchester City midfielder Rodri, currently sidelined with an ACL injury, has expressed optimism about making a comeback before the end of the season.
Speaking to AS, the Ballon d’Or winner shared his determination and confidence in modern medical advancements. “I’m not afraid,” Rodri stated. “These injuries aren’t what they were 30 years ago. The medical team has assured me I can return without issues. Although being out for 6-8 months isn’t easy, I’ll take it step by step.”
Reflecting on Manchester City’s celebration of his Ballon d’Or win, Rodri added: “It was incredible. I was speaking with Mateo Kovacic, who said he’d never seen anything like it, even at Ballon d’Or events in Madrid. City’s support is something I’ll always cherish.”
Rodri remains focused on his recovery, hoping to rejoin his team in their quest for success before the season concludes.
