Plateau state,Nigeria: Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi has visited Plateau State to commiserate with victims of recent attacks in Bokkos
The attacks left several people dead and many others displaced. Obi met with Governor Caleb Mutfwang and interacted with affected residents, expressing concern over the humanitarian impact of the violence.
Obi described the attacks as “senseless killing” and emphasized that the scale of devastation is unacceptable. He called for urgent action to restore peace and stability in Plateau State. To support the victims, Obi announced a N7.5 million donation to assist displaced children and address immediate needs.
Obi reaffirmed his commitment to advocating for justice, unity, and national healing, expressing condolences to families and communities affected by the violence.
