Nigeria’s Ese Brume creates history by emerging victorious in the Diamond League in China

Ese Brume made history as the first Nigerian field athlete to secure a spot in the final of the Diamond League, the premier one-day series in athletics.

This achievement came after she soared to an impressive 6.71 meters during the 12th meeting of the 14-leg league held in Xiamen, China.

Brume’s remarkable long jump performance earned her a well-deserved third place, sharing the podium with the reigning world indoor champion.
