Nigeria: The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has welcomed a new leader, Bayo Ojulari, who officially assumed office as the Group Chief Executive Officer following a formal handover ceremony at the NNPC Towers in Abuja
Ojulari succeeds Mele Kyari, who played a pivotal role in steering the company through a critical phase of reforms and restructuring.
In his inaugural statement, Ojulari expressed gratitude to his predecessor, Mele Kyari, for his outstanding contributions to the growth of NNPCL and dedicated service to the nation. He pledged to build on Kyari’s achievements, steering the company toward a new era of excellence and strategic growth. “Our targets are ambitious, but with the collective efforts of the management, staff, and the continued guidance of my predecessor, we will exceed expectations,” Ojulari assured.

Ojulari’s appointment by President Bola Tinubu also marked a significant reshuffle of the NNPCL board, aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s energy sector for enhanced efficiency and global competitiveness.
