In a recent statement, Adedotun Ayo-Vaughan announced a reshuffling of senior officers. Rear Admiral Olusanya Bankole, previously the Director of Logistics at the Defence Space Administration, has been appointed as the Chief of Communications and Information Technology at Naval Headquarters. Rear Admiral Alexander Bingel, formerly the Director of Combat Policy and Tactics, is now the Director of Logistics at Defence Headquarters.
Other notable appointments include Rear Admiral Ibrahim Dewu, who now serves as the Chief of Defence Civil Military Cooperation at Defence Headquarters, and Rear Admiral Kennedy Ezete, who assumes the role of Chief of Administration at Naval Headquarters. Rear Admiral Livingstone Izu has been appointed as the Chief of Logistics at Naval Headquarters, while Rear Admiral Musa Madugu takes on the position of Admiral Superintendent at Naval Ordinance Depot. Rear Admiral Daupreye Matthew transitions to the Director of Training at Defence Headquarters, and Rear Admiral Zakariya Muhammad is reappointed as the Chief of Training and Operations.
Rear Admiral Emmanuel Nmoyem continues as the Director of Human Rights Desks at Defence Headquarters, and Rear Admiral Ibrahim Shettima becomes the Director of Plans after previously serving as the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command. Rear Admiral Monday Unurhiere assumes the role of Chief of Defence Administration at Defence Headquarters, and Rear Admiral Hamza Kaoje becomes the Group Managing Director of Navy Holdings Limited, among other appointments.
