Man Allegedly Kills WhatsApp Admin After Removal from Group

Peshawar, Pakistan  —  A Pakistani man has been charged with murder after allegedly gunning down the administrator of a WhatsApp group for removing him from the chat.

Authorities confirmed that the victim, Mushtaq Ahmed, was fatally shot on Thursday evening in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The suspect, identified only as Ashfaq, allegedly carried out the attack following an argument that led to his removal from the group.

According to the victim’s brother, the two men had agreed to meet for reconciliation. However, Ashfaq reportedly arrived at the meeting armed and opened fire, killing Mushtaq on the spot.

Police reports indicate that Ashfaq was furious over his expulsion from the WhatsApp group, which ultimately escalated into the tragic incident. The suspect has since been taken into custody, and authorities have launched a full investigation into the case.

The incident has sparked shock and concern, highlighting the dangers of online disputes turning violent in real-life encounters.
