Kebbi State Attack: Four Killed, Including Airtel Staff Member

Nigeria _ Suspected Lakurawa bandits launched a deadly attack on a construction site in Gumki village, Arewa Local Government Area of Kebbi State, on Saturday afternoon, killing four people, including a staff member of Airtel Nigeria

The victim was installing a surveillance mast for the Nigeria Immigration Service at the time of the attack.

The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed the incident, and Commissioner of Police Bello Mohammed Sani, along with Kebbi State Comptroller of Immigration, Muhammad Bashir Lawali, visited the scene to oversee the evacuation of the victims’ bodies. In response to the attack, the Commissioner reviewed the area’s security strategy, deployed additional tactical teams, and urged key stakeholders to provide timely information to aid security operations.
