Pro-democracy activist, Hon Mike Msuaan, has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consider providing fuel subsidy removal palliatives to students in higher institutions of learning across the country. Speaking after receiving a distinguished service award as a True Nationalist in Abuja, he emphasized that extending these palliatives would help alleviate the effects of the fuel subsidy removal on students.

He praised the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) for their mature approach in engaging with the government over the subsidy removal decision. Msuaan pledged his support for meaningful initiatives by NANS and encouraged students to remain dedicated to the nation’s service. The award was presented to him by NANS representatives, recognizing his contributions to students’ welfarism and advancement.
