Two students of the Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Oyo State and the driver of a commuter bus, were killed in a fatal accident along Osogbo/llobu road in Osun State.
The students were traveling back from a picnic at the Erin jesa Waterfalls when the tragic accident occurred.
Confirming the incident; LAUTECH on its X handle; commiserated with the family of the victims.
The driver was said to have lost control following an attempt to escape after knocking down a commercial motorcyclist.
Corroborating this, the State’s FRSC Sector Commander, Agnes Ogungbemi, attributed the crash occurred to excessive speed and a loss of control.
