Europa League: Amorim Elated with FCSB Victor
Manchester, England — Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has expressed delight following the Red Devils’ 2-0 triumph over FCSB in Thursday’s Europa League encounter.
The victory was secured with second-half goals from Diogo Dalot and Kobbie Mainoo.
Speaking after the match, Amorim praised his team’s dominant performance and tactical execution.
“We controlled the game very well, maintaining possession and creating opportunities. That gave us more time to connect our plays and think strategically,” Amorim said.
He singled out Kobbie Mainoo for his impressive contribution.
“Kobbie performed excellently, enjoying more freedom and less defensive pressure. The lads did a fantastic job — another clean sheet. However, we need to be more clinical and convert more chances into goals,” Amorim remarked.
Despite calling for better finishing, the United manager was pleased with the result, describing it as a positive outing for the team.
“Overall, it was a good day for us,” he concluded.
