Amorim Smashes Dressing Room TV in Outburst After Brighton Defeat

[ez-toc]Manchester, England  —  Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim reportedly vented his frustration after his team’s 3-1 defeat to Brighton by smashing a TV screen in the club’s dressing room.

According to The Athletic (via The Sun), Amorim unleashed his anger in a rare and intense outburst, both verbal and physical, shocking players who were accustomed to his usually calm demeanor after matches.

The TV, used for tactical briefings before games, became collateral damage during the Portuguese manager’s tirade. Players were reportedly stunned, as Amorim typically opts to remain silent immediately after a loss, preferring to review the match and address issues the next day.

United fans, however, have rallied behind Amorim, applauding his fiery reaction as a sign of his passion and commitment to improving the team.

On social media, one fan wrote: “I fully back Ruben Amorim. If the players aren’t fighting for the badge, they can leave.”

Another supporter added: “This is the kind of energy we need. The players have to step up.”

A third commented: “Amorim is exactly what United needs right now—passionate, determined, and ruthless. He’ll succeed.”

Meanwhile, a fourth hailed him as “the modern-day Sir Alex Ferguson,” referencing the legendary former United manager.

At 39 years old, Amorim is one of Europe’s most promising young coaches. His frustrations carried over to the post-match press conference, where he labeled the current squad as “the worst Man United team in history.”
