Cultist Attack Claims Three Lives in Bayelsa Community

Nigeria _ A cultist attack on the Igbogene Community in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State has resulted in the deaths of three people

The armed cultists, believed to be members of the Greenlanders group, stormed the area on Wednesday evening, triggering panic among residents. The attack is reportedly linked to a rivalry between the Bobos and Greenlanders cult groups. The Bayelsa State Police Spokesman, Musa Mohammed, confirmed the identities of the deceased and stated that an investigation into the attack is ongoing.

The Nigerian government has made efforts to curb cult-related violence through law enforcement operations and public awareness campaigns.
