Burna Boy sets the record straight on his mother dancing for Fela Kuti

In his latest album “I Told Them,” Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, expressed his frustration about not feeling appreciated by Nigerians despite his efforts in making the country proud through his music. He lamented that instead of recognizing his contributions, rumors have spread about his family and personal life, including speculations about his mother’s involvement with Fela Kuti and his lack of a baby mama like many of his colleagues. Burna Boy also addressed the negative assumptions surrounding an incident involving his police escorts, stating that Nigerians tend to twist things without understanding the truth.
