Borno state,Nigeria: The Borno State All Progressives Congress (APC) has reiterated its loyalty to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s leadership
At a stakeholders’ meeting held at the Government House, party members and key stakeholders expressed their unwavering support for the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Governor’s efforts to rebuild and secure Borno State.
The stakeholders, including members of the National and State Assemblies, former Governors, and party elders, commended Governor Zulum’s progress in recovering Borno from insurgency and promoting development. They urged him to remain focused on his efforts, which have been yielding positive results.
The meeting also called on the federal government to continue supporting development programs in Borno State, including oil exploration and investment in road infrastructure. The stakeholders appealed to President Tinubu to invest in road infrastructure in the Northeast to enhance security and prosperity.
The APC in Borno State reaffirmed its commitment to the party, with no plans for a merger or change of party affiliation. The stakeholders urged party faithful to promote unity and solidarity within the party and avoid actions that could tarnish its image.
