In a daring rescue operation, a joint security team comprising police operatives and local vigilante members successfully freed two kidnapped victims in Ihiala.
Rescue Details
The victims were abducted by kidnappers who intercepted their vehicle along the Onitsha-Owerri Expressway. The police swiftly responded to the incident, leading to the rescue of the victims and the recovery of their abandoned vehicle.
Arms Recoveries
In separate operations, the police recovered substantial caches of arms and ammunition in Onitsha and Nkpor. A suspiciously parked bus was found to contain concealed firearms, while a suspected cultist was arrested with guns and other dangerous weapons.

The Anambra State Commissioner of Police has praised the public for their cooperation and urged residents to remain vigilant and law-abiding.
