The Federal Capital Territory Police command has disclosed the identity of the popular crossdresser who was tragically murdered in Abuja earlier this month.
The individual, known as ‘Abuja Area Mama’, was found dead along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on August 8. The police launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
In a statement released by the command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, it was revealed that the deceased is Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, a 33-year-old individual from Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State who resided in Dapé, Karmo Area of Abuja.
The police have been in contact with the deceased’s family, who are cooperating with the authorities by providing necessary information to aid in the investigation.
The unveiling of the victim’s identity sheds light on the tragic incident and brings clarity to the situation, as efforts continue to unravel the circumstances surrounding the untimely death of Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict.
