Donyell Malen’s double secured the Netherlands a place in their first Euros quarter-final since 2008, with a commanding 3-0 win over Romania in the last-16 on Tuesday.
Cody Gakpo opened the scoring in the first half and, despite several missed chances, provided the assist for Malen’s second goal.
Malen sealed the victory with a brilliant solo effort in stoppage time, making him the first player to score twice in a single match at Euro 2024.
The Netherlands will face either Turkey or Austria in the quarter-finals.
