Abuja, Nigeria— A new political movement, Team New Nigeria (TNN), has taken a major step towards official recognition ahead of the 2027 general elections by unveiling its logo and slogan.
In a statement released by the party’s spokesperson, Dr. Mohammed Adah Shaibu, TNN confirmed that it had finalized key branding elements, including its acronym, motto, and slogan.
The party will be represented by the acronym TNN, with the slogan “Greater Nigeria” and the motto “Unite and Rebuild the Nation.”
Describing this milestone as the foundation of a transformative political movement, Dr. Shaibu announced that the party’s constitution and manifesto would be formally introduced at a National Conference in Abuja in April 2025. The event will mark the official launch of the party.
TNN’s president, Modibbo Yakubun Farakwai, expressed optimism that the party had fulfilled all necessary conditions for registration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
“We have put in place essential committees, including Legal and Constitutional Compliance, Political Management, Contact and Mobilization, Finance, Publicity, Structure, Conference, and Membership Registration and Harmonization. These committees have completed their tasks successfully,” Farakwai stated.
With these preparations, TNN aims to redefine Nigeria’s political landscape and offer a fresh alternative in the 2027 elections.
