Ajibade, who won the WAFCON Player of the Tournament award, advised young Nigerian girls to hold on to their passion and work hard to achieve their dreams.
According to her, they should believe in themselves and know that anything is possible because their time is coming.
The 25-year-old forward stated this in a post via her X account on Monday while expressing her gratitude to fans of the Super Falcons and her teammates following their WAFCON final victory against Morocco.
“We did it! Mission X accomplished!
Words can’t fully express what this moment means. This isn’t just our 10th WAFCON trophy, it’s a testament to the relentless spirit of this team,” Ajibade said.
“To the fans: you are our 12th player. Your cheers from home and abroad echoed in our hearts and pushed us to the very end. Thank you for your unwavering support.
“To my sisters, my teammates, I’m so incredibly proud of every one of you. We did it together against all odds.
“To the young girls with dreams in their eyes: this is for you. Hold on to your passion. Work hard. Your time is coming. Believe in yourself, and know that anything is possible.
“Forever grateful to the Most High GOD. Forever champions.”
