Super Eagles Star and Forward, Victor Osimhen has been nominated for the 2023 The Best FIFA Football Awards.
FIFA made public the names of the nominees on Thursday via her official page.
NIGERIA’s Osimhen is the only African who made the shortlist.
The 24-year-old played a crucial role in Napoli’s Scudetto success last season.
The forward scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances for the Partenopei.
The Nigerian has already scored three goals in three league appearances this season.
Osimhen has also need nominated for the 2023 Men’s Ballon d’Or.
Argentina captain Lionel Messi, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, Kevin De Bruyne, Marcelo Brozovic, and Ilkay Gundogan.
Other nominees are; Declan Rice, Rodri, Kylian Mbappe and Bernardo Silva.
