Nigeria _ The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has reported that vandals have destroyed a 132kV transmission line and underground cables, causing a power outage in several areas of Abuja, including Maitama, Wuse, Jabi, Life Camp, Asokoro, Utako, and Mabushi
The incident, which occurred near the Millennium Park, has affected over 60% of the power supply to Abuja, with the vandals carting away 40 meters of conductors. TCN engineers have been[ez-toc] deployedto repair the damaged cables, and the company has urged residents to report suspicious activities to security operatives to safeguard transmission installations.
