US Supreme Court Upholds TikTok Ban Amid National Security Concerns

US_ The US Supreme Court has ruled in favor of a law banning TikTok in the United States, citing legitimate national security concerns related to the app’s Chinese ownership

The court rejected arguments from ByteDance, TikTok’s parent company, that the law violates free speech rights.Despite calls for a delay from lawmakers and officials, the ban is set to take effect on Sunday, following Congress’s passage of a law requiring ByteDance to sell or shut down TikTok in the US by January 19.
