UK opens temporary Visa submission centre in Enugu

The British High Commission in Nigeria has announced the opening of a new temporary submission centre for UK visas in Enugu State.

A statement by the British High commission in Lagos indicates that the facility will offer service twice a week.

The commission explains that the appointment system allows an applicant to select Enugu as their application location, when applying for a UK Visa in addition to current locations in Abuja, Lagos and Port Harcourt.

Also, the Enugu state government said it approved the visa Centre to facilitate visa applications in the southeast region.

Secretary to the State Government, Prof Chidiebere Onyia said that the centre would strengthen ties between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
