Nigeria:  England manager Thomas Tuchel has announced his inaugural squad selection, featuring a mix of established players and new faces

Headlining the list is Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford, who has regained his form since departing Manchester United in January. Newcastle defender Dan Burn and Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly are among the fresh inclusions, eager to make their England debuts. Notably, 34-year-old Jordan Henderson returns to the squad, having last represented England in November 2023. Tuchel’s squad selection precedes England’s next set of fixtures, as the team seeks to build on its quarterfinal appearance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
