Trump and Putin Agree on Immediate Ceasefire in Russia-Ukraine Conflict

USFormer U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that he had a “very good and productive” phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.

Trump, in a post on Truth Social, confirmed that both leaders agreed to an “immediate ceasefire” on all energy and infrastructure. He further stated that discussions were underway for a complete cessation of hostilities to bring an end to the war.

“This war would never have started if I were President!” Trump declared, adding that both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed a willingness to end the conflict.

The former president emphasized that the process for peace is now in motion, and he remains hopeful that a resolution will be reached soon for the sake of humanity.
