In his post, Trump stated, “I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th.”
The announcement follows Harris’ acceptance of Fox News’ suggestion last month to hold the debate. Harris had stated that she was “ready” for the engagement.
This development comes after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race following a poor debate performance against Trump in June.
