The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) has encouraged teachers to embrace technology and engage in professional development to remain relevant in a fast-changing global environment. These recommendations were made during the 2023 TRCN online annual conference of Registered Teachers. The conference emphasized the importance of lifelong learning, self-development, and collaboration among teachers to improve service delivery in the education sector. TRCN also advocated for the use of digital tools and technology integration in teaching. Over 15,000 participants from across Nigeria took part in the conference, which aimed to strengthen teaching and learning in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4).
