Munich, Germany — Christopher Nkunku has reportedly reached a personal agreement to join Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
The French forward is eager to return to Germany after struggling to secure a regular spot at Chelsea. However, while personal terms have been settled, negotiations between Bayern Munich and Chelsea are ongoing.
The Blues have set a €70m asking price for the 27-year-old, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano. This financial demand could complicate the deal, especially as Bayern’s young forward Mathys Tel has expressed his intention to stay at the club.
Despite the hurdles, Bayern are prepared to wait until the summer transfer window if a winter agreement cannot be reached for the PSG academy graduate.
The potential move reflects Bayern’s continued efforts to strengthen their squad for domestic and European success.
