Transfer: Hull City sign Akintola on two-year contract

Sky Bet Championship club Hull City have completed the signing of Nigerian winger David Akintola, news reports.

Akintola, who linked up with the Tigers on a free transfer, has penned a two-year contract.

The 29-year-old last played for Turkish Süper Lig club Çaykur Rizespor.

The versatile player registered four goals and nine assists in 49 outings across all competitions for Rizespor.

Akintola joins his compatriot Semi Ajayi at Hull City.

News recalls that Ajayi moved to the MKM Stadium earlier this summer.

Akintola is in line to make his debut for Sergej Jakirović’s side against Oxford United on Sunday.
