Renowned musician Tiwa Savage recently disclosed her strategies for juggling filmmaking, motherhood, and her music career.
Speaking at the press briefing for her debut film, ‘Water and Garri,’ the acclaimed ‘Koroba’ singer commended her team for their support in managing her diverse roles. She emphasized her aim to inspire others to explore multiple talents rather than confining themselves to a single pursuit.
“I hope to inspire people, just be an inspiration to many different talents out there that they do not have to stick to one thing,” she stated.
Directed by Meji Alabi and shot in Ghana, ‘Water and Garri’ narrates the journey of Aisha, an ambitious fashion designer who returns to her homeland after a decade in the United States, coping with loss, guilt, and reconnecting with her roots.
The film, set to premiere on May 10 on Prime Video, boasts a stellar cast including Jemima Osunde, Mike Afolarin, and Andrew Bunting, promising audiences a compelling narrative intertwined with themes of identity and reconciliation.
