President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate the newly reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota-Oshodi Expressway and the recently rehabilitated Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State on Sunday.
Additionally, the President will launch the commencement of the 700-kilometer Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, which spans nine states from Lagos to Cross River, both physically and virtually.
Furthermore, President Tinubu will virtually initiate the design and procurement for the 1,000-kilometer Sokoto-Badagry Highway, which traverses Kebbi, Niger, Kwara, and Oyo States.
He will also virtually launch the design and procurement of the 461-kilometer Africa Trans-Sahara Route, beginning from a point on the Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja Road and passing through Benue, Kogi, and Nasarawa States, ending at Apo in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In addition, the nationwide reconstruction and rehabilitation of emergency interventions on 330 roads and bridges across the six geopolitical zones will be virtually flagged off.
President Tinubu is expected to arrive in Lagos on Saturday in preparation for these engagements.
