Abuja, Nigeria — President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in eight Federal Permanent Secretaries and 18 Commissioners of the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation, and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) in a ceremony held at the State House, Abuja.
The swearing-in took place just before the year’s first Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, marking a significant step in strengthening governance and public administration.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries include Onwusoro Ihemelandu (Abia), Ndiomu Philip (Bayelsa), Anuma Nlia (Ebonyi), Ogbodo Nnam (Enugu), Kalba Usman (Gombe), Usman Aminu (Kebbi), Oyekunle Nwakuso (Rivers), and Nadungu Gagare (Kaduna).
Among the 18 RMAFC Commissioners sworn in are Nkechi Linda Oti (Abia), Akpan Effiong (Akwa Ibom), Enefe Ekene (Anambra), Professor Steve Ugba (Benue), Mohammed Usman (Gombe), Chief Eyo-Nsa Whiley (Cross River), and Aruviere Egharhevwe (Delta).
Others include Nduka Awuregu (Ebonyi), Victor Eboigbe (Edo), Wumi Ogunlola (Ekiti), Ozo Obodougo (Enugu), Bello Garba (Zamfara), Kabir Mashi (Katsina), Adamu Fanda (Kano), Dr. Kunle Wright (Lagos), Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir (Nasarawa), Bako Shetima (Niger), Samuel Durojaye (Ogun), Nathaniel Adejutelegan (Ondo), Modu-Aji Juluri (Yobe), and Saad Ibrahim (Plateau).
Additionally, Mr. Kayode Oladele (Ogun) was sworn in as a member of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), while Mrs. Olukemi Iyantan (Ondo) took the oath as a Commissioner for the National Population Commission (NPC).
During the FEC meeting, attendees observed a minute of silence in honor of former FCT Minister Jeremiah Useni, who passed away on January 23, 2025.
