President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt condolences to the traders who suffered losses in the Karu Market fire in Abuja on Thursday.
In a statement issued on Friday by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, the President expressed deep sadness upon learning about the blaze, which damaged parts of the market.
The fire broke out on Thursday evening, ravaging a section of the market and destroying property and goods.
“President Tinubu extends his heartfelt sympathies to all the traders affected by this distressing incident and assures them of his administration’s full support,” the statement read.
The President also emphasized the importance of caution and adherence to safety measures to prevent future fires and other accidents.
