President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the former Governor of Borno State, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, following the death of his mother, Hajiya Aisa, who passed away on Sunday in Abuja after a prolonged illness at the age of 93.
The funeral will take place today, Monday, at the family residence of the late Galadima Modu Sheriff along Damboa Road in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State.
In a statement on Monday, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, conveyed that President Tinubu urged the Modu Sheriff family to find solace in the knowledge that the deceased lived an exemplary life of righteousness. The President also prayed for Allah to grant her Aljannah Firdausi and provide comfort to her family.
