Abuja, Nigeria — President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Danjuma Adamu Ismaila as the new Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT), Zaria.
The announcement was made in a statement issued Wednesday by presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.
Dr. Ismaila, a seasoned expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security, earned a degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1989.
“He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation and has attended multiple courses, workshops, and seminars on civil aviation management and transportation,” the statement read.
Dr. Ismaila is a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, among other professional bodies.
Before his appointment, he served as a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, Katsina State.
