Abeokuta, Ogun State — The much-anticipated international friendly between Nigeria’s Super Falcons and the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon has been postponed once more, following a fresh round of schedule adjustments.
Originally set to be played last Saturday at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, the fixture was first moved to Monday and relocated to the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, due to the delayed arrival of the Cameroonian contingent.
However, the latest shift stems from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) not granting approval for a Monday showdown. This development prompted yet another change in plans.
According to an official update shared via the Super Falcons’ X (formerly Twitter) handle, the match will now take place on Tuesday, June 3, at the MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta. Kick-off is scheduled for 4:00 PM Nigerian time.
The repeated rescheduling has heightened anticipation among fans, who are eager to witness the two African giants in action after weeks of uncertainty.
