This meeting follows the team’s unfortunate exit from the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup, which is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand. The Super Falcons were eliminated after a penalty shootout against the English team on Monday, August 7.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu has been actively engaging with Nigerian female sports figures to offer her support and encouragement. She recently convened a similar gathering with the triumphant Nigeria female basketball team, D’Tigresses.
