Nigeria–Nigerian singer, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, popularly known as Simi, has captivated fans with her love note to her husband, Adekunle Gold on their 6th wedding anniversary.
The couple, who tied the knot in a beautiful private ceremony on January 9, 2019, have built a strong and loving foundation over the six years of their marriage.
On January 13, 2025, Simi shared an emotional note to her husband on her Instagram page, calling him “the best man” she knows. She also appreciated him for still being able to make her laugh after all these years;
“6 years. You still make me laugh. You’re still the best man I know. You’re still the one Happy Anniversary, Baby. I love you,” she wrote.
The duo, have a daughter together and continued to showcase their affectionate bond publicly.
One of the most significant milestones of their marriage was when Simi released “Duduke”, during her pregnancy shoot.
This song soon became an anthem for expectant mothers. The track, which captured the joy and anticipation of motherhood, earned her widespread acclaim nationally and internationally.
