Shettima Shares Leadership Lessons at Wedding

Ibadan, Nigeria  — Vice President Kashim Shettima has emphasized the importance of humility and foresight in leadership, noting that true leaders achieve lasting success through these qualities rather than an unquenchable thirst for power.

The Vice President shared these insights while lauding the leadership style of Ekiti State Governor, Abiodun Oyebanji, during the traditional wedding of Oyebanji’s daughter, Toluwatimi Esther Oyebanji, and her husband, Ayodeji Kenny Akinyemi. The event took place at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Representing President Bola Tinubu, Shettima commended Governor Oyebanji for fostering unity among Ekiti State’s past governors. “He has united four past governors under the same canopy, which speaks volumes about his character and leadership,” Shettima stated. He also extended his best wishes to the newlyweds for a joyous and fulfilling married life.

The remarks were contained in a statement issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Stanley Nkwocha.
